EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 4 - 6 years’ experience in Desktop Operations
  • Bachelor’s Degree required

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, TRAINING, OR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Working knowledge and experience with Monitoring and Automation tools like: Dynatrace, Operations Bridge Manager, Zabbix, Operations Orchestration, Network Node Manager and similar
  • Working knowledge and experience with: Containers (Kubernetes preferred), Software Defined Networking/NSX
  • Working knowledge and experience with multiple open source middle tier products including but not limited to: CI/CD Toolchains, GitLab, Terraform/Artifactory, Jenkins, Elastic, Splunk, ActiveMQ and others.
  • Working knowledge of converged/hyperconvered platforms
Responsibilities

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Technical Advisor, Desktop Operations role will be responsible for providing on-site support for workplace devices, software, and processes for end-users working globally. This position will also be responsible for timely completion of IT problem resolution with a wide variety of clients, including senior-level associates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides in-person support to executives and various customer personas, which allows end-users to receive dedicated support for any IT issue that may occur
  • Leads in troubleshooting for a wide variety of DaVita issued software’s and laptop/desktop hardware issues
  • Balances multiple priorities and can adjust to changing working demands and shifting focus. Will manage the routing of escalations and outages that will provide resolution
  • Develops procedures, documenting activities and troubleshooting problems
