SUMMARY OF THE ROLE As a Technical Advisor, you will be responsible for supervising ongoing painting works of projects to ensure the right product and correct usage of the finished coating to achieve the performance as recommended in Jotun's technical data sheets and method of statement. This position is based in Riyadh and reports to the Senior Technical Advisor. Responsibilities: To inspect and prepare concrete with correct surface preparation for coating application, along with the use of specialized tools such as Captive Blasting, shot blasters, scarifiers, or power washers as per standard profiles and cleanliness standards (e.g., SSPC, ASTM) Supervise and advise applicators on proper product applications, on-site assessment, inspection, and reporting on painting activities for Decorative as well as Floor coating products to ensure that painting jobs are carried out according to specification and procedures. Conduct site-based inspection and quality control tests, including film thickness checks, adhesion tests, and visual assessments to verify application quality and troubleshoot any surface or performance issues proactively. Engaging with contractors and floor coating applicators to develop and expand a qualified applicator network by training and certifying them as authorized Jotun floor coating applicators. Delivering product training sessions for internal teams and customers to enhance their knowledge, skills, and overall competency in Floor coating product application and performance and adhere to Jotun’s HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment and Quality) standards, ensuring consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of all hazardous materials, in full compliance with workplace and environmental safety regulations. Fluency in English, both verbal and written, speaking Arabic will be an advantage. Location - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
