The incumbent will be responsible for the implementation of authorized facilities and daily monitoring of syndication transactions as well as the management and daily processing of administrative and monetary operations for the commercial business.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College diploma and three to five years of experience or university degree in a relevant field and one to two years of experience
  • Bilingual (spoken and written)*
  • Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Solid knowledge of banking and knowledge of commercial financing, an asset

Responsibilities
  • Process requests and make disbursements according to instructions, and ensure the indexing of transactions (daily transactions, price changes, advances and reimbursements, etc.) in the Bank’s systems in accordance with Bank approvals and policies.
  • Process routine transactions on current accounts and facilities held by clients while ensuring compliance.
  • Obtain the required consents and, with clients and partners, coordinate the issuing and/or renewal of bankers’ acceptances, LIBOR loans, CDOR loans and derivatives (swaps or fees).
  • Maintain and optimize communications with internal and external stakeholders involved in business unit operations.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with current legislation and his or her unit’s policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and update documents, reports, and statistics.
  • Verify data and transactions to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Answer internal clients’ questions.
  • Carry out administrative follow-up of files and, if applicable, advise stakeholders of irregularities that may delay processing.
  • Perform all tasks of a similar or general nature requested by his or her superior or required for the job.
