Currently recruiting for a Technical After-Sales Support Specialist this is a full-time, permanent role and a newly created position designed to support the growing demands of a dynamic and expanding business.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, or machinery-related fields.
  • Proven experience in a technical support, field service, or after-sales role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Good working knowledge of diagnostic tools and repair processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with CRM or service management systems.
  • Full driving licence (occasional site visits may be required).

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Technical certification or qualification in mechanical engineering, electrical systems, or related discipline.
  • Previous experience working with garden, agricultural, or industrial machinery.
  • Experience working in a distribution or wholesale environment.
  • Understanding of warranty claim processes and supplier liaison.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Technical After-Sales Support Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction through effective product support, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and service coordination.
Reporting to the Technical Service Manager you will work closely with customers, service partners, suppliers, and internal teams, you will serve as one of the key technical points of contact post-sale, contributing to the effective resolution of issues and the consistent delivery of high-quality service.
This role is ideal for someone with strong technical know-how, a hands-on approach, and a passion for problem-solving and customer care within a machinery or engineering-related industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers, dealers, and internal teams across the full product range.
  • Respond to technical inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring timely and accurate solutions.
  • Diagnose machinery faults and recommend appropriate repair or replacement actions.
  • Support warranty and service claims processing, including documentation and supplier communication.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of product training and technical materials for customers and team members.
  • Work closely with the sales and service teams to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded post-sale.
  • Maintain records of service issues, feedback, and technical trends to assist in product improvement.
  • Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers on technical matters and escalate complex issues when necessary.
  • Contribute to product improvement by providing field feedback and technical reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and service standards.
