MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years in full lifecycle Data Warehouse design and development, including data modeling, ETL, and reporting.
• 5+ years experience in at least two IT disciplines: technical architecture, application development, middleware, DB management, or operations.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with BI and predictive analytics on cloud-based Data Warehouses.
• 3+ years working with DevOps toolchains and processes.
• 1+ year experience in Generative AI architecture and AI application development.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 10 years with data warehousing technologies such as SQL Server, Snowflake, AWS Redshift.
• 3 years using ETL tools (Informatica, AWS Glue, Talend).
• 3 years with Power BI or Tableau.
• Cloud Architect and AI certifications (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
• Ability to work on-site 2–3 days per week in West Sacramento, CA.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Client is seeking an experienced Technical and Business Intelligence Architect to join our team and provide expert-level guidance on Generative AI, BI/DW architecture, and cloud solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and build Generative AI infrastructure and applications for enterprise solutions.
• Develop architecture for CI/CD pipelines on AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Provide expertise on Business Intelligence (BI) tools, frameworks, and best practices.
• Define BI standards, guidelines, and collaborate with business and technical teams.
• Lead architecture design, development, and integration for BI & DW solutions.
• Implement cloud architecture with features like scalability, orchestration, and virtualization.
• Use DevOps toolchains and processes to streamline deployments.
• Act as SME for BI & DW platform architecture, including Snowflake and AWS.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and provide governance on cloud deployments.
• Drive full lifecycle: scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical design, testing, and deployment.
• Prepare technical documentation and weekly/monthly reports for stakeholders.
