The retail equipment range is an important part of the IKEA identity. It supports presenting, selling and handling of the IKEA product range, strengthens the IKEA Brand and helps visitors enjoy the full IKEA experience. IKEA Components is looking for a Technical & Communication Specialist for our great team of Engineers within Retail Equipment. As a Technical & Communication Specialist you will be responsible for developing, editing, and publishing web-based content for IKEA Retail Equipment. Produce product manuals and associate technical documentation and write and design product descriptions, images, and marketing content for a B2B web-based platform. You will also create product images using photography or rendering software. Manage a large portfolio of items efficiently. Work within Content Management Systems (CMS) to maintain and update digital content and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and accuracy. You have an analytical mindset in combination with a holistic view on strategic business decisions. We are looking for you who have/are Degree in Technical Communication, Graphic Design, Engineering or Equivalent. You have good analytical skills to interpret technical specifications and translate them into clear content with a proactive and problem-solving approach. High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Confident in CAD software. Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) is a plus. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Market and Supply. Fluent in English, both written and spoken, additional languages are a plus.
