Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
Join our team as a Technical Applications Engineer (Customer Support) and play a pivotal role in providing exceptional support to our leading industrial clients. Your responsibilities will include carefully reviewing and efficiently managing technical inquiries concerning our product lines post-handover to the customer. This involves assisting customers with remote setup via email, phone, live remote plant HMI (Human-Machine-Interface) access, and other channels.
You will collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and senior leaders who are keen on sharing their knowledge and expertise while supporting you directly. This hands-on role will sharpen your skills in process, controls, and industrial system operations.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Serving as the first point of contact for customer technical queries. This involves managing customer communication, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and customer satisfaction is maintained.
- Providing remote technical support, employing troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues promptly.
- Routing the issue to the relevant engineering or project teams, obtaining a resolution, and delivering the solution to the customer.
- Engaging in collaborative problem-solving across engineering and project management divisions to tackle intricate technical challenges head-on.
- Mastering our product offerings to offer authoritative support and guidance to our valued clients.
- Bringing forward design feedback, driving continuous improvement, and innovation within our engineering teams.
- Writing and refining comprehensive support documentation, guidelines, and procedures to empower both customers and internal teams.

You will be a great fit if you have:
- A Chemical or Integrated Engineering degree.
- 2 to 4 years of post-graduate experience, with a proven track record of technical support proficiency in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Hands-on experience with system diagnostics, including hydrostatic, mechanical, electrical, and process control commissioning or field work.
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards pertaining to mechanically and electrically energized systems.
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a strong orientation toward safety and risk management.
