We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Applications Scientist to join the OPUS® Prepacked Columns Product Management team. In this role you will serve as a technical expert bridging customer experience and product performance by managing post-sales technical inquiries, assessing product complaints and collaborating cross functionally to maintain the high quality and reliability of the OPUS® pre-packed chromatography portfolio. This role requires a strong foundation in chromatography coupled with analytical problem-solving and customer-facing skills. Responsibilities Customer Support & Troubleshooting Serve as the technical point of contact for post-sales customer technical inquiries regarding OPUS® performance and applications Perform data driven investigations and resolve customer complaints in collaboration with Quality, Engineering and Operations Provide technical troubleshooting support during customer qualification, validation and manufacturing runs Application and Analytical Expertise Provide application expertise to internal teams on topics such as column performance, resin compatibility and system integration best practices Analyze resin packing performance and application data to define, monitor and optimize critical packing parameters Support internal training and enablement to build organizational knowledge of OPUS® PPC technology, use cases and common troubleshooting scenarios Continuous Improvement Partner with Field Applications, Quality and Strategic Product Management to translate customer feedback and application learning into product roadmaps Identify trends in inquiries and complaints, develop proactive solutions and contribute to knowledge base creation Drive continuous improvement by collaborating cross-functionally with Operations, Quality and Commercial Teams Qualifications Master’s in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or related Life Science discipline (PhD highly preferred, Bachelor’s considered with relevant experience) 5+ years of hands-on experience in bioprocessing chromatography purification processes (resin packing experience a plus) Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a customer-facing role Analytical and data-driven mindset with ability to leverage AI and interpret complex performance data Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with Quality, Operations and Commercial teams in a fast-paced setting Experience in regulated environment (GMP/biopharma preferred) Willingness to travel (up to 30% including international) What Repligen Offers Our mission is to inspire advances in bioprocessing as a trusted partner in the production of biologic drugs that improve human health worldwide. The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $$112,500.00 -$$172,500.00. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
