The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting scalable data platforms, defining data models, setting governance standards, and leading the modernization of enterprise data ecosystems. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities 1. Data Architecture & Modeling • Design and implement enterprise-level data architecture, including data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time data platforms. • Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models (OLTP/OLAP). • Define data standards, modeling conventions, and best practices. • Optimize data structures for analytics, reporting, and AI/ML workloads. 2. Cloud Architecture (Azure / AWS / GCP) • Architect scalable and secure cloud-based data platforms using: o Azure (Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks, ADF, Purview) o AWS (Redshift, Glue, S3, EMR) o GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc) • Design data ingestion and transformation pipelines using cloud-native services. • Establish best practices for performance, cost optimization, and availability. 3. Data Integration & Engineering • Lead design of ETL/ELT frameworks and data pipelines. • Work closely with Data Engineers to ensure scalable implementation. • Standardize data ingestion from structured, semi-structured, and unstructured sources.
