REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience developing Salesforce customizations (Apex/VF), integrations, and developing and executing data migrations
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience creating the technical architecture for complex Salesforce implementations
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in technology implementation for full-lifecycle enterprise software projects
  • Strong background in Cloud Computing solutions – cloud computing strategy, systems design, implementation and management
  • Knowledge of XML, SQL, HTTP/HTTPS, and EAI processes
  • Familiarity with multiple implementation standards and methodologies
  • Programming Languages – APEX, VisualForce, Familiarity with ANT and Eclipse tools for working with the IDE
  • A solid understanding of the architectural principles of cloud-based platforms, including SaaS, PaaS, multitenancy, multi-tiered infrastructure, integration patterns, and application servers
  • Experience with release management, source control, and deployment technologies such as CI/CD pipelines, Metadata API, and integration services
  • Experience with cross-cloud Salesforce (SFDC) implementations integrated with other cloud and on-premise systems
  • Awareness of platform-specific design considerations such as large data volumes, allocation limits, and data migration
  • Knowledge of software design principles
  • Must have full-time permanent US work authorization
  • Bachelor’s/Postgraduate degree, professional qualification, or relevant experience

Responsibilities
  • The Technical Architect will assist in creating a technical roadmap that will ensure a company has the technical infrastructure in place to help solve customer business problems
  • This person will have a specific domain focus in areas such as security, integration, scalability, performance, and application development
  • Translate business needs to a technical vision that teams of low code or pro code builders can execute on
  • Build proofs-of-concept (POCs) that teams can further iterate on and leverage to develop integrated and scalable solutions
  • Lead efforts on developing reusable solutions and best practices
  • Support the Sales process, provide a level of effort estimates for technical components of solutions, as well as an overall technical expertise
  • Lead custom development efforts, conduct code reviews, suggest design alternatives, ensure code compliance with best practices, recommend approaches for performance and scalability optimization
  • Conduct technical reviews and assessments of new and emerging technologies and solutions in the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Take an active leadership role in the Technology Architecture Center of Excellence (CoE)
  • Mentor/coach new technical staff
