We are looking for our future Technical Architect (CRM/Power Platform) – Level 3 to join our teams. 🎯 Your Missions The client is modernizing its CRM and case management capabilities to consolidate existing applications into a single, secure, and scalable enterprise solution built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. This modernization requires advanced architectural expertise to design, integrate, and govern multiple environments and to ensure the solution supports the client’s evolving business requirements, including multi-tenant operations. The scope of work includes architecture design, technical leadership, and delivery support for the client’s enterprise CRM platform. The Technical Architect will be required to: • Architect CRM/Power Platform solutions to meet business requirements while adhering to GoC standards. • Design and oversee integrations between Dynamics 365 and external systems (Azure services, M365, SSC-managed infrastructure, third-party APIs). • Define and implement environment strategies, including ALM, governance frameworks, security/authentication, and monitoring. • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Power Platform CLI. • Lead technical workshops and provide mentorship to developers and business analysts. • Develop technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment playbooks, and governance models. • Conduct performance and scalability reviews and provide tuning recommendations. • Support data migration activities, including strategy and execution oversight. • Provide knowledge transfer to NRC staff through training, presentations, and documentation. 📝 Your Profile Education • A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. • An acceptable combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered. Experience Minimum 8 years of professional IT experience, with at least 5 years as a Technical Architect in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Online/Power Platform projects. Demonstrated experience designing and implementing solutions that include: Power Pages with client branding (WET/Canada.ca theme). Multi-environment application lifecycle management (ALM) strategies. Integration of Dynamics 365 with five (5) or more enterprise systems, APIs, or Microsoft cloud services (Azure, M365, SSC-managed services). Authentication and security model design in a federal or highly regulated environment. Data migration using tools such as KingswaySoft, Azure Data Factory, or equivalent. Experience working in Agile/SCRUM delivery teams with Azure DevOps for CI/CD, release pipelines, and automated deployments. Previous hands-on experience architecting or delivering at least one client Power Platform/Dynamics 365 solution is required. Certifications (must hold at least 1 of the following certifications): Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert Knowledge and Competencies • Strong knowledge of Government of Canada IT standards, including accessibility (WCAG/WET), security, and cloud compliance. • Ability to mentor developers and provide technical leadership in multi-disciplinary teams. • Strong communication and documentation skills for presenting architecture decisions, technical roadmaps, and compliance assessments. • Ability to balance out-of-the-box vs. custom development and advise on optimal architectural decisions. SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS (atouts) : • Security Clearance: The proposed resource must hold a valid Reliability Status (or higher) security clearance with the Government of Canada at the time of contract award. • Tools and Infrastructure: NRC will provide access to Azure DevOps, Microsoft 365, and NRC-approved development environments. Contractors must use only approved GC/NRC infrastructure and tools. • Conflict of Interest: The resource must not have any actual, potential, or perceived conflict of interest related to the delivery of this work.
Responsibilities
