TECHNICAL ARCHITECT (INFRASTRUCTURE):

On behalf of our Consulting client, Procom is searching for a Technical Architect (Infrastructure) for a 6 month contract role. This position is remote with the requirement to work corresponding hours for New Brunswick.

TECHNICAL ARCHITECT (INFRASTRUCTURE) - JOB DESCRIPTION:

This project involves supporting and leading infrastructure projects from a solution and design perspective. It includes tasks such as migrating from Cisco networking to Aruba, modernizing Access and Identity Management, and implementing Zero Trust Network Access.

TECHNICAL ARCHITECT (INFRASTRUCTURE) - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• 5+ years of experience as a technical architect or similar role
• IT Infrastructure Technical Architecture Solution and Design
• Experience in cloud computing, networking, hybrid server environments, M365, IAM, Entra ID, SCCM/Intune, DNS, and security best practices
• Experience with Cisco, Aruba, and Palo Alto
• Experience in Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
• Documenting architectural solution designs
• Strong communication skills

TECHNICAL ARCHITECT (INFRASTRUCTURE) – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• TOGAF certification
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of Password Hash Sync
• Experience with Entra Connect redundancy

• Plan and implement the core network upgrade
• Migrate from Cisco networking to Aruba technology
• Design new monitoring solutions for IT infrastructure and services
• Contribute to architectural solution design for modernizing Access and Identity Management
• Plan for migration to Password Hash Sync
• Develop solutions for Windows Server DHCP redundancy
• Implement Entra Connect redundancy
• Design solutions for remote user device and identity modernization
• Migrate Entrust public certificates
