Job Description

The Technical Architect will be responsible for:

  • Production of documented system & solution designs to NEC/SSS Public Safety standards & format.
  • Presentation of designs and supporting rationale to internal and external audiences
  • Maintain and update designs through project changes process
  • Liaison with 3rd party suppliers and customers to discuss and agree architecture components
  • Provide design leadership and oversight across the project team through proactive interaction with all stakeholders
  • The role holder will be required to work professionally in liaison with internal teams such as Sales and Product teams for governance, evaluations and approvals.
  • The role holder would need to accept a car allowance for business travel.
  • The role can involve extensive customer contact on both a technical and non-technical level requiring a professional and adaptable approach to communication, interaction & service.
  • The role involves a high level of autonomous working which expects a high standard of personal time and task management.
  • Complete all activities within set deadlines and report appropriately any difficulties to achieve delivery milestones.
  • Present a professional approach and attitude to all work undertaken.
  • Promote a clean working environment. Adhere to all Health and Safety practices, rules and regulations.
