KEY SKILLS

  • Experienced with programming languages such as Java, Javascript, Python, Go in a micro-services architecture.
  • Communicating with technical and business stakeholders
  • Understanding of networking and software architectures
  • Understanding of structured text formats; JSON, XML, CSV
  • Understanding of synchronous and asynchronous architectures

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Familiarity with API definitions: Swagger / Open API 3

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Working with many disparate teams throughout our customer community to enable their cross-domain use cases, you will need to manage many different priorities and stakeholders to achieve their business outcomes. The Technical Architect applies authoritative and deep technical expertise. Once configured , it may be necessary to work with the teams to debug and resolve any issues and further refine the setup. It is important to be happy engaging with stakeholders with varying seniority and technical understanding.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide expert technical consultancy to customers and TSL Solution Architects on how to integrate with the system via REST APIs, SFTP, Web-hooks, etc
  • Work closely with TSL Solution Architects, to understand customers’ use-cases, providing an authoritative view on the best components of the software system to use and taking ownership of the project-specific high-level designs.
  • Setting up customer access to the cross-domain systems and configuring data flows for these customers.
  • Liaising with the development team to resolve technical issues with the system & acting as a technical point of escalation for the wider Sustain team.
  • Maintain contact with TSL’s Product-steering group to ensure project coherence with platform roadmaps and strategic aims.
  • Suggesting process improvements to the implementation process
  • Advising the development team on possible feature enhancements
