Come join us as Technical Assistant (m/f/d) Genome Editing at KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA. As a member of our international team, you will work on a permanent and full-time basis at our research facilities in Einbeck, Germany. You will work in a dynamic and innovative environment, and across teams and locations to perform transformation and genome editing experiments, particularly in sugarbeet.

Responsibilities
  • Apply and conduct molecular biology techniques for the analysis of plant material.
  • Plan and carry out transient transformation experiments to support our genome editing activities.
  • In-vitro reproduction and cultivation of sugar beet.
  • May assist colleagues with other tissue culture and molecular operations and lab processes.
  • Acquire know-how and evaluate results using in-house bioinformatic pipelines.
  • Accurately record data and document experiments in electronic notebooks and in the KWS laboratory databases.
