KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA is searching for a motivated Technical Assistant (m/f/d) to join our Genome Editing (GenEd) Trait Discovery group at our global headquarter in Einbeck, Germany. If you are passionate about advancing protein analytics in the field of agricultural sciences and have already acquired hands-on experience in protein-protein interaction technologies, then you will be a perfect candidate to join our growing team. What we offer is a position that supports state-of-the-art in-house protein technology applications with a clear focus and mindset to accelerate GenEd product development at KWS.
This is a full-time position with an initial 2-year fixed-term contract, potentially leading to a permanent role. We’re excited to fill it as soon as possible!

Responsibilities
  • Design, implementation and documentation of protein-protein interaction experiments
  • Perform cloning and genetic transformation of bacteria and plants
  • Express and purify proteins using chromatographic system
  • Prepare, evaluate and report data in internal meetings
  • Contribute to general lab maintenance and team operations
  • Support in internal and external stakeholder management
