WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will work with the technical delivery teams, solution architects, business representatives and product owners, and a variety of technical colleagues, to translate business requirements into technical deliverables, and to facilitate the design of technology solutions that best support the achievement of customer goals.
You will have the chance to liaise with business, technical and test teams to make certain the final design will meet the business’ needs and your contribution will be key to any delivery!

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT?

We are looking for people with a self-motivated and flexible attitude that can demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-vendor environment. You will have demonstrable experience, as a Business Analyst, working within an Agile delivery programme as a Technical Analyst or Product Owner.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including working with technical resources to document deliverables including Technical/Functional Requirements, High-Level Designs, Acceptance Criteria, UI/UK Wireframes, storyboards. Financial Services experience would also be beneficial to apply for this position.

Experience with any of the following will help you to stand out:

  • Confluence & Jira or similar tooling
  • Design Thinking
  • Figma or other wireframing tools
  • Developing & mentoring business analysts and conducting peer reviews.
  • Various types of Analysis including but not limited to data, systems, process, product, risk, functional.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, VISIO or other mapping tools.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certification, Qualification or Training Business Analysis (PBA, CBDA, BCS, Lean Six Sigma) Scrum, Agile or equivalent.
Responsibilities

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Be working within the team to deliver technical change in an Agile manner using SCRUM and KANBAN to support the delivery teams and the business in defining Initiatives, Epics and User Stories in support of the required business requirements.
  • Frequently, operate as the sole Technical Analyst for projects & assigned changes in the refinement of business requirements to technical/functional requirements
  • Be responsible for ensuring the capturing of key artifacts to ensure adherence to our compliance and governance frameworks throughout SDLC
  • Support in the development of the BA practice within GTCS and mentor Business Analysts.
  • Have experience in SDLC from both Agile and Waterfall methodologies perspective and the capture of requirements to support these methodologies for example Initiatives, Epics, User Stories, Functional & Non-functional requirements, Use Cases, Process models
  • Communicate the requirements to various stakeholder groups and partners and act as translator between IT and the business to ensure the cohesive alignment of all parties.
