WHAT YOU'LL DO We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to significantly extend the functionality of the reporting arm within Braze’s Technology Business Operations (TBO) team. You will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights by owning the requirements gathering, work breakdown, and scheduling of our portfolio of dashboards and reports. Your work will not only provide critical visibility across the Technology organization but also directly support critical functions with data-driven insights, progress visibility, resource allocation, and budget forecast. This role is vital for our mission to ensure comprehensive measurement across all processes, systems, and tools. You'll be joining a collaborative and productive environment, reporting to the Director of Operations in Braze’s Technology Services organization. Key job responsibilities: Lead and execute requirements gathering, roadmapping, scheduling, organization, and monitoring for reporting and business analysis projects Manage the Technology org’s diverse portfolio of dashboards and reports that track key metrics and provide comprehensive data-driven insights related to their projects Implement reporting and analysis solutions that streamline processes and result in time savings and improved accuracy. Improve operations, organize work logically, and keep the function out of the weeds Be a point of contact that acts as a buffer between external queries and internal effort Drive efforts to provide data visibility for critical organizational needs Work closely with various teams to gather data and deliver relevant reports and insights. Proactively identify opportunities where analysis can optimize business operations in the division and for Braze at large WHO YOU ARE 3+ years experience in a role of this type Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development Strong background in requirements gathering, work breakdown, and scheduling Ability to understand business needs, analyze trends, and develop actionable plans that align with business objectives Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details to non-technical audiences and vice-versa Proficiency with project management and reporting tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, Looker, PowerBI, Tableau, or Snowflake Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple work streams Ability to adapt quickly to changing business scenarios and priorities.
