ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Technical Business Analyst, you’ll act as the voice of the customer to ensure that our teams continue to deliver more best-in-breed products that advance the way we pay, bank and invest. You’ll work as part of a team in a scrum setting and must be a self- motivated, proactive, and out-of-the-box thinker.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Technical Business Analyst, you’ll act as the voice of the customer to ensure that our teams continue to deliver more best-in-breed products that advance the way we pay, bank and invest. You’ll work as part of a team and will be self-motivated, proactive and innovative. You will work closely with our major banking clients to analyse and understand their requirements and business needs.

You will also:

  • Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
  • Devise and modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time and form of desired results.
  • Analyse business and user needs, complete documentation of requirements and translate into proper system requirement specifications.
  • Influence business partners and service providers regarding priorities, hardware/software selection and/or vendor selection.
  • Identify and document business strategies, objectives and drivers.
  • Analyse and document business processes and metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Re-engineer processes to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Assess, apply and projects the impact of system changes on users and internal and external clients or stakeholders.
  • Write test plans and test cases to ensure changes which are made to the application meet client needs and that application integrity is maintained.
  • Conduct a variety of tests such as system, integration, readiness and acceptance tests. Ensures changes made by programmers are correct.
  • Verify through testing that changes made by programmers to one part of the application do not impact other parts.
