Your work will address real world, complex and unique problems across various business lines, clients, countries and technology platforms. Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity You will act as a bridge between business and technical subject matter experts, understanding business requirements, with the technical and analytical curiosity to probe and understand the ‘so what’ with the team. With a strong grasp of data-driven design, you will define functional and non-functional requirements and capture decisions as they are made. Additionally, you will support testing and change management activities and develop or update business process definitions. Your responsibilities will include eliciting, documenting, and validating business requirements using techniques such as workshops, interviews, surveys, and desk-based research. You will be able to query data, identify data sources and gaps, create technical specifications, and develop solution mock-ups. Strong problem-solving skills, a passion for data, and exceptional stakeholder management across cross-functional teams are essential. Mōu ake | About You We are looking for a Business Analyst with over 5 years of experience in complex projects and technical proficiency in data analysis and solutions. You should have a strong background in various software development methodologies and be skilled in developing functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and business processes. As an experienced business analyst, you can see and understand the “big picture” while also managing the detail. You excel at simplifying complex problems and processes and can adapt your communication style to suit the audience. You are passionate about data and business improvement, using leading-edge technology and solutions. Building relationships, understanding needs, exploring possibilities, and facilitating outcomes come naturally to you. You are eager to grow your knowledge and experience and seek an organisation that supports those aspirations.
