Description:

We are looking for a techincal business analyst who are passionate about delivering high quality IT applications and solutions. You will be part of the team that helps to improve and transform the processes in the banking and finance industry.
You will have opportunities to learn new skill set and acquire valuable domain knowledge as you work on the solutions that meet multifaceted technical and business requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • Experience in the Banking Domain will be an advantage: Previous experience or exposure to the banking or financial services industry, including knowledge of banking products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and knowledgeable in software development Lifecycle and software testing: Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing practices.
  • Familiarity with database SQL queries: Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence: Experience using JIRA for project management and issue tracking, as well as Confluence for collaboration and documentation.
  • Experience and knowledge in OCR and workflow will be advantageous: Additional experience or expertise in Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology and workflow automation processes would be beneficial for certain project requirements and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions: Act as a liaison between various business stakeholders and the development team to ensure that business requirements are clearly understood and translated into technical solutions.Collaborate with both business and technical teams to align objectives, prioritize tasks, and address any discrepancies or challenges that may arise during the development process.
  • Translate requirements into technical specs and actionable tasks for our development team located in Singapore and China: Take ownership of translating business requirements into detailed technical specifications, ensuring clarity and feasibility for the development team.Break down complex requirements into manageable tasks and user stories, facilitating effective communication and task management within the distributed development team.
  • Gather requirements and document business requirements: Conduct thorough requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to identify and prioritize business needs, objectives, and constraints.Document business requirements accurately, ensuring completeness, clarity, and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop detailed user stories and acceptance criteria: Create comprehensive user stories that capture end-user perspectives, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.Define clear acceptance criteria to ensure that deliverables meet stakeholder expectations and quality standards.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions: Collaborate closely with development teams to provide guidance, clarification, and support throughout the development process.Monitor project progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and proactively address any issues that may impact the timely delivery of solutions.
  • Conduct thorough testing of implemented solutions that meet business requirements: Plan and execute rigorous testing procedures to validate that implemented solutions fulfill specified business requirements and functional specifications.Identify and report any defects or deviations from requirements, working with the development team to resolve issues promptly.
  • Provide support and guidance to stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle: Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, offering support, guidance, and regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.Address stakeholder queries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and engagement throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Identify and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies related to project delivery: Proactively identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact project delivery, and communicate them effectively to stakeholders and project teams.Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and resolutions for addressing identified risks and issues.
