Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as a key link between our business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business requirements in the AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and fraud domain into actionable technical specifications. This role requires a deep understanding of data systems, architecture, and hands-on configuration of decisioning components. Responsibilities AML/Fraud Domain Knowledge: Translate high-level business requirements and objectives related to AML and fraud detection into clear, detailed technical specifications and data requirements. Decisioning & Rule Engine Management: Directly configure and maintain components within our decisioning and rule engine, including the setup of rules, variables, decision tables, and decision trees. System Architecture & Integration Analysis: Analyze and document the architecture of our application services, data links, storage solutions, and APIs. Actively participate in designing system integrations and creating comprehensive integration diagrams. Technical Environment Understanding: Demonstrate a working knowledge of Linux for basic operations and maintenance, including log analysis, service monitoring, and resource planning. Data & Middleware Stack: Work with and provide input on our data infrastructure and middleware stack, including the Hadoop ecosystem (Spark, Hive, HDFS) and technologies such as Elasticsearch, Cassandra, HBase, Nginx, Kafka, and Zookeeper. Coding & Technical Design: Possess the ability to read and understand code to effectively collaborate with developers and contribute to the technical design of solutions. Experience: At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a Technical Business Analyst role or a similar position with a strong technical focus. Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of basic AML and fraud concepts, including the data and processes required for effective risk management. Technical Skills: Proficiency in configuring decisioning and rule engine platforms. Experience with system architecture and integration patterns. Familiarity with Linux administration basics. Knowledge of data stacks (Hadoop, etc.) and various middleware technologies. Coding Ability: A foundational understanding of coding principles with the ability to read and comprehend code. Communication & Analysis: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
