QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years as a Business Analyst in a technical role, supporting developers and resolving logic/flow issues.
  • Strong understanding of software development, APIs, databases, and Agile/Scrum environments
  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Amplitude, and SQL for requirements, documentation, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication to align with stakeholders and external experts, clarifying complex needs.
  • Experience researching domain-specific insights (e.g., PPC, FBA workflows) is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Nice-to-haves: Knowledge of Amazon PPC, wireframing (e.g., Figma), data visualization (e.g., Tableau), or certifications (e.g., CBAP, Agile).
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Technical Business Analyst at Scale Insights, you’ll support our development team by crafting clear user stories, resolving technical queries, and ensuring error-free functional flows for our Amazon PPC management tool. You’ll collaborate with external experts to understand FBA seller needs, align with stakeholders, and track user engagement metrics to support our goal of increasing Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) and reduce time to first value. This role focuses on execution, working closely with our Product Manager, who owns strategic prioritization, to deliver impactful features.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Development : Address developer queries on in-sprint user stories (e.g., Amazon SP-API usage) within 24 hours, resolve logic issues and functional errors (e.g., campaign automation flows), and craft clear, developer-friendly user stories.
  • Collaborate with Experts : Work with external FBA seller experts to gather PPC insights (e.g., ACoS, profitability tracking) and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Align with Stakeholders : Participate in bi-weekly meetings to review user requests (via Canny), clarify requirements with marketing, support, and technical leads, and escalate conflicts to the Product Manager for final decisions.
  • Research and Clarify : Research user needs and tech stack (e.g., SP-API, database structure) to identify gaps and ensure error-free workflows, seeking Product Manager approval.
  • Monitor User Engagement : Track Daily Active Users (DAU) via Amplitude to assess feature impact (e.g., in-app prompts adoption) and provide data to inform product decisions.
