Are you passionate about transforming data into actionable insights? Known internally as a Data Systems Analyst, you’ll contribute to the design and delivery of data solutions within our Corporate Platforms team that supports Suncorp’s strategic direction. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across Technology & Operations to ensure our data systems are fit-for-purpose, integrated, and aligned with business needs.

Responsibilities

Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements
Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications and data models
Collaborate with Data Engineers, Solution Architects, and Testers to ensure solutions meet business goals
Support the design and delivery of data pipelines, integrations, and system enhancements
Create process maps, data flow diagrams, and system documentation to support delivery
Perform gap analysis and impact assessments on system and data changes
Contribute to testing activities by defining acceptance criteria and supporting defect triage
Liaise between business teams and technical delivery teams to ensure shared understanding
Maintain alignment with Agile delivery practices, including backlog refinement and sprint planning
Monitor solution implementation to ensure requirements are met and quality standards upheld
