Job Title: Technical Business Development and Marketing Executive
Location: Macclesfield
Job Type: Full Time. Office based with possibility of hybrid working
Pay: £28,000 - £32,000 pro rata
MedChemica is a small company that provides software and consultancy services to the global pharmaceutical industry. You will be working with our Head of Business Development to drive and innovate approaches to promoting the company and managing clients.
You will get to work closely with our team of scientists and software engineers, there will be travel opportunities within and beyond the UK.
You’ll play a pivotal part in our continuing marketing strategy, working closely with the team to craft captivating promotions and advertisements to use across various platforms including social media, email marketing, website, developing our brand identity and driving awareness to encourage new business.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
· Degree in Chemistry is a requirement
· Marketing experience is not essential but desirable
· Knowledge of social media strategy and content
· Experience of delivering projects as a part of a team
· Highly organised, excellent communication skills and attention to detail

· Set Marketing goals in collaboration with the leadership team, monitor company performance against these

· Produce a Newsletter, gather information from the team and publish monthly
· Co-ordinate and produce ‘training’ videos, update if necessary
· Continued enhancements to the MedChemica website
· Organise, update, improve the contacts log and our current process of tracking contact with potential customers for software and consultancy
· Develop experience to recommend improvements to business systems and processes
