JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator with experience or interest in the marine industry to support our sales team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The Sales Coordinator will play a key role in managing customer accounts, preparing quotations, processing orders, and liaising with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Maritime Studies, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales coordination, preferably in the marine, shipping, or offshore industry.
  • Strong understanding of marine equipment, systems, or services is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with Incoterms, shipping documents (BL, Packing List, Commercial Invoice), and international trade practices.
  • Knowledge of marine regulations and classification societies (e.g., DNV, ABS, Lloyd’s Register) is a plus.
  • Fluency in additional languages is an advantage depending on the market served.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support the sales team in managing day-to-day operations and customer relationships.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations, sales orders, and shipping documentation.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, providing accurate information on products, pricing, and lead times.
  • Liaise with procurement, logistics, and technical departments to ensure timely delivery of marine equipment, parts, and services.
  • Maintain and update customer records, order details, and sales pipeline in the CRM system.
  • Assist in preparing sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for management.
  • Monitor and track order progress, shipping schedules, and invoicing to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support the coordination of after-sales service, warranty claims, and spare parts orders when necessary.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, products, and technical specifications relevant to the marine sector.
