VConsyst is a dynamic, young and technical organization operating in the world of sustainability, circularity, waste management and public outdoor space design. We are constantly looking for smart technical solutions that deliver convenience to the user, especially in the world of waste. Also with systems for bicycle parking, canopies, street furniture and litter bins, VConsyst contributes to a nicer and cleaner living environment with smart solutions.
VConsyst’s future lies in “servitization” or the meritization of our product portfolio. From your role as Process Engineer, you are at the forefront of this.
We are leaders in the industry, developing solutions independently or in collaboration with other parties and partnerships in ambitious projects. VConsyst has now grown into an internationally operating organization based in the Netherlands and is part of a holding company with several companies. WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As a Technical Purchaser, you are the specialist in purchasing technical materials and parts, with a keen eye for quality, cost and delivery time. You switch smoothly between daily operational tasks and identifying improvement opportunities at the tactical level. You analyze trends, assess supplier performance and actively contribute to optimizing our procurement processes.
You work closely with engineering, work preparation and production and know how to effortlessly translate technical drawings into targeted procurement specifications. You will be based in Genemuiden, but you will also be regularly present at our locations in Maarssen, Nunspeet and Gorredijk.
In addition, you will carry out site-transcending activities, such as category management and the further development of supplier strategies. Of course you may visit our suppliers, you have to forge the iron while it is still hot!

YOUR MAIN TASKS

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with vendors in your portfolio;
• Prepare and monitor stock orders based on material requirement planning;
• Provide, follow up and monitor purchase orders;
• Check order confirmations for price and delivery time agreements;
• Identify and resolve disruptions in the supply chain;
• Analyze procurement data, recognize improvement opportunities and make improvement proposals;
• Contribute to category management and professionalize supplier selection;
• Maintain up-to-date scheduling parameters and purchasing data in the ERP system;
• Execute RFP/RFQ processes and record contractual agreements.
