REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong understanding of change management best practices.
  • Familiarity with ITIL and DCAM Frameworks, as well as established Change Management Processes.
  • Awareness of Incident and Problem Management principles and practices.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Proven analytical thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience with post-implementation reviews and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant certifications in change management or IT service management (e.g., ITIL Foundation).
  • Previous experience in a technical change management role within an IT environment.
    Note: This position requires a TSPV NV1 or NV2 security clearance. Candidates must meet eligibility requirements for clearance before applying.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

The Technical Change Coordinator will be pivotal in managing and coordinating technical changes across IT systems and services, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations while adhering to established change management processes. This role requires a proactive approach in the management of change initiatives and effective collaboration with various stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to communicate the technical intent, impact, and risk of proposed changes.
  • Schedule and document changes in the official change calendar, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Prepare and distribute technical change plans and readiness steps to relevant teams and stakeholders.
  • Monitor change execution, validate successful implementation, and manage escalations as required.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and contribute to the continuous improvement of change processes.
