OVERVIEW:

Aspire Technology Inc. (ATI) is a leader in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and renewable energy solutions. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Commissioning Technician to join our team and support the deployment of cutting-edge energy storage systems across Ontario.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the commissioning of BESS at customer sites.
  • Perform basic electrical connections and communication wiring under supervision.
  • Safely use hand tools and power tools for installation and troubleshooting.
  • Support technical staff in testing and validation of systems during commissioning.
  • Accurately document work performed, test results, and system configurations.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve technical issues.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Preferably based in Waterloo, Kitchener, or Southgate area.
  • Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and communication cabling.
  • Ability to read and interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Good problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites.
  • PLC and HMI programming is a plus.
