Are you ready to use your technical communication expertise to help build products that are literally shaping the world?
We are looking for a creative, collaborative Technical Communicator to join our Information Experience (IX) team. This isn’t a traditional documentation role—it’s an opportunity to help us create end-to-end user assistance solutions across hardware, software, and digital platforms.
We’re at the cutting edge of machine control solutions, bringing together Caterpillar’s expertise in heavy equipment with Trimble’s innovative technology in positioning and software. As a Technical Communicator, you’ll help users understand and apply their product knowledge from the moment they get in the cab. You’ll be a user advocate and a vital part of a global team that’s focused on creating seamless, integrated content experiences.
What You Will Do
As a Technical Communicator, you’ll lead the content efforts for our products and help design and develop clear, user-focused content to ensure our operators and technicians succeed with CTCT products. You’ll be a key part of our Information Experience vision, which means you’ll go beyond static help files to create dynamic, integrated content experiences, including UX writing, graphics, and video.

This role is based at Trimble’s New Zealand headquarters in Christchurch, on the Little River Link Cycleway. Our division develops machine control products that use site design information combined with positioning technology to semi-automatically control machines.
