Description
EMCD is a top-tier technology company at the forefront of the crypto industry. Best known as one of the worlds largest mining pools, we are building a seamless, all-in-one ecosystem for digital asset management—combining secure wallets, high-yield savings (Coinhold), instant P2P exchange, and enterprise-grade infrastructure tools. We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Compliance Specialist to join our CISO Office. This is a key, hands-on role that sits at the intersection of regulatory requirements and engineering execution. You will translate complex international regulations and standards—particularly VARA, MiCA/DORA, and SOC 2—into clear, actionable technical requirements and implementation plans. You'll work closely with Infrastructure and Product teams to design, implement, and validate controls, ensuring EMCD maintains a provably secure and compliant posture. Key responsibilities: Translate regulatory and framework requirements into clear technical controls and actionable tasks for cross-functional teams (especially VARA, MiCA/DORA, SOC 2). Partner with Infrastructure and Product to design, implement, and validate controls across cloud/infrastructure, IAM, secure SDLC, and data security. Own the compliance automation platform: configure controls, manage evidence collection, and track remediation of findings. Lead gap assessments, support external audits as the technical point of contact, maintain key technical compliance documentation (data flows, network diagrams, control procedures), and report control effectiveness/status to the CISO and leadership. Requirements: 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in audit, technical compliance, or security engineering, with practical knowledge of at least one major framework (SOC 2, ISO 27001, DORA, NIST). Strong understanding of modern IT infrastructure, including networking, server hardening, and secure SDLC practices. Ability to interpret complex regulatory texts and translate them into clear technical actions for engineers. High attention to detail, strong project coordination skills, and confident communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proactive, independent working style with the ability to drive initiatives end-to-end. What we offer: Fully remote position work from anywhere in the world. Flexible schedule Monday to Friday, 8-hour workday. Competitive compensation package base salary + KPI. Extended time off 20 paid vacation days + 12 additional recovery days. Professional growth ownership of strategic projects, exposure to global hiring, and continuous learning opportunities. Global impact contribute directly to building a world-class, data-driven recruitment engine for EMCD. Join EMCD a global Web3 ecosystem spanning mining, fintech, and crypto solutions and help us shape the future of scalable, data-driven hiring.
