REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • University degree in Life-Science or Engineer
  • At least 2 years of experience in the medical device industry including a hospital operating room environment
  • At least 2 years of experience in 3D Navigation and Mapping
  • Knowledge of Electrophysiology procedures and products
  • Fluent English and Portuguese and computer skills
  • Clean driving license, availability and willingness to travel
    Ability to operate in a matrix environment and work effectively with sales force, physicians, nurses, and hospital technicians, skills to work independently on projects/duties as well as have a Portugal-wide view, strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels of the organization, high attention to detail and accuracy, team oriented, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement technical and education programs, prioritizing technical and education programs with review and input from the Sales Manager and other functional groups, consistent with the Country Business Plan
  • Serve as the technical expert and referent for the CAS team, provide support to customers and become an expert in our product portfolio
  • Deliver technical support during the procedures and provide troubleshooting assistance to the field sales force and customers as needed
  • Participate in the development of the employee and customer training/education programs by preparing study materials, planning, organizing, and conducting training for customers (physicians, technicians, nurses, and administration) in collaboration with the Sales force team and the Training & Education department
  • Assist the Sales force during customer presentations upon request, and support marketing and sales in the introduction and market launches of new products and therapies through clinical review and input to sales and marketing brochures
  • Contribute to achieving the AOP by providing technical and clinical support to both CAS team and external customers
  • Report all accounts, market, and competitive information, trends, and metrics in a comprehensive, complete, and timely manner, including accurate reporting of product-related events and customer complaints, in accordance with compliance requirements (e.g., customer feedback, product and legal issues and risks, etc.)
