Job Description Reporting to the Director, GTS (Electrical and Electronic) based in Germany, you will be the technical expertise on electrical and electronic products in providing advice globally to clients, business development, operations and client & program management teams on technical needs, industry and market trends, and regulatory compliance consultancy. You will also be the key contributor to provide technical direction for the organization’s future development and to manage & maintain the internal technical know-how for electrical and electronic products. Qualifications Monitor global regulations and standards update Create and maintain technical documents for internal use or for client distribution, including regulatory update newsletters, interpretations, testing protocols for global markets on various electrical and electronic products, etc. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide consultancy service to assist clients in problem solving or create innovative (out of the box) solution for clients who are looking for testing solutions going beyond the usual standard methods Represent the organization to attend technical committee meeting, trade show, international conference, and as a speaker on external seminar Support business development, key account management and program management team in client’s meeting to understand client’s needs and convert to business opportunities Organize internal training to build up the technical competency of the relevant stakeholders Be an internal auditor to check the technical competency of laboratories in different locations Assist in new tests / new laboratories development Manage subcontractor’s quality and performance REQUIREMENT Degree or above Electrical / Electronic Engineering or any equivalent 5+ years of experience in the Quality Assurance, Compliance or Laboratory Testing field; Qualified ISO 17025 internal auditors would be an advantage Good knowledge on international regulations and standards for electrical and electronic products, such as US market: FCC & UL testing Canada market: ICES & CAS testing EU market: EMC, EMF, RED & product safety testing Australian market: CISPR, EESS & RCM process China market: 3C certification process & SRRC Good sense on product development Good sense on new technology for electrical & electronic product and smart product Excellent writing, presentation, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to understand client’s needs Have a good ability to face difficulties and high demanding clients; Demonstrate ability to work well under pressure, learn quickly and seek new assignments, pay attention to details, and meeting tight deadlines; Be quality minded with high attention to detail and proven problem-solving skills.
