This position is located in Manila. Team member must be able to fulfill Finastra in-office work policies, as well as be able to work 2nd shift or 3rd shift to align with USA work activities. Your deliverables as a Software Engineer will include, but are not limited to, the following: Participate in software design and planning sessions, collaborating with the Product team and other platforms to translate user needs into technical requirements. Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML/CSS, and Ruby on Rails. Assist in deployments and integrations using Azure-based services. Test, debug, and troubleshoot application issues, working with other engineers and cross-functional teammates to ensure timely resolution. Follow the established software development lifecycle, coding standards, and best practices. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support product releases and address production issues. Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical discussions, and identify opportunities for process improvement. Required Experience Must be able to comply with Finastra In Office / Return to Office work policies. Must be available to work 2nd shift / 3rd shift to align with USA digital development and support priorities. 3+ years of professional software development experience, including web application design and implementation. Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML/CSS, and Ruby on Rails. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and Azure-based services. Financial industry experience is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Solid understanding of software development methodologies and the software development lifecycle. Ability to solve technical problems of moderate scope with minimal supervision. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Clear verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative, customer-focused mindset. Ability to manage priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
