How you’ll make an impact: This role offers the opportunity to become a trusted technical advisor in the travel technology space, influencing API adoption strategies across APAC. You’ll gain exposure to next-gen API solutions, and work closely with industry leaders - positioning yourself for future roles in solution architecture, product strategy, or technical leadership. Your role in action: We’re looking for an API Specialist with strong expertise in SOAP and JSON integrations to advise customers on best practices, optimize performance, and enhance booking success. This role requires deep knowledge of GDS connectivity, booking workflows, and evolving industry standards such as NDC. You will act as the technical lead in customer discussions, drive investigations related to booking or sell failures, and deliver workshops that strengthen customer capabilities. Collaboration is key—partnering closely with Account Management, Global Consulting, and Product teams to ensure solutions align with customer needs and to provide feedback that helps shape future API and GDS enhancements. Could this be you? Must-Have Strong understanding of SOAP and JSON-based APIs. Good understanding of GDS workflows and OTA integration models. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot booking and API transaction flows. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Fluent in Mandarin (speaking and writing) and English. Nice-to-Have Experience with GDS platforms. Knowledge of NDC (New Distribution Capability).
