LOCATION: Hybrid in Boulder, Colorado (3 days per week in office - Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday). Must be able to commute to office in Boulder, CO and reside in Colorado

OVERVIEW:

Spectra Logic, a leader in data management and storage solutions, is seeking a Technical Content Marketing Manager to create compelling, high-impact technical marketing materials. This role will be pivotal in enhancing brand awareness, enabling sales, and educating IT professionals, value-added resellers, and strategic partners. The ideal candidate will bridge technical knowledge with marketing expertise to communicate complex storage solutions in an engaging and effective manner.

YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:

  • 10+ years of experience in technical content marketing within an information technology field. Strong knowledge of storage, cloud computing, or data lifecycle management is highly desirable. Sales engineering/solutions architecture experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable success developing presentations, long- and short-form technical content. Please be prepared to provide non-confidential samples of your work.
  • Strong storytelling and messaging skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into customer-focused value propositions.
  • Public speaking experience and ability to present technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and highly organized with strong project management skills.
Responsibilities
  • Sales Enablement: Create compelling technical collateral that empowers sales and partner teams, including battle cards, solution briefs, and competitive analysis.
  • Go-to-Market Collaboration: Partner with product management to craft messaging frameworks, ensuring product positioning aligns with customer needs.
  • Long-Form Content Creation: Conceptualize, research, and produce high-quality technical content, including white papers, case studies, technical blogs, reference architecture, web copy, presentations, video scripts, and customer success stories.
  • Customer Storytelling: Translate real-world customer experiences into compelling narratives that reinforce Spectra Logic’s value proposition and market leadership.
  • Thought Leadership: Contribute to Spectra Logic’s industry influence by publishing technical blog posts, speaking at events, and developing expert-level content on data management trends.
  • Content Management & AI Integration: Utilize AI tools to accelerate content development, manage digital assets, and enhance marketing content accessibility and usability.
