DECISION MAKING/BUDGETARY CONTROL:



    • Ability to make operational based decisions; keeping the CBRE UK Engineering Lead informed.



      • Support the operational team to ensure site expenditure is within annual budget targets for the account.



        • Support the correct process for obtaining quotations and seeking client approvals

        Responsibilities

        JOB PURPOSE:

        The Technical Contract Manager will manage local Change Management and Quality Control at the facility.

        THE TECHNICAL CONTRACT MANAGER WILL ALSO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:



          • Providing leadership, management, and development of a defined contract, ensuring financial, and operational commitments are met and exceeded.



            • Support CBRE teams and other stakeholders in the delivery of all services within the scope of the role, and provide shoulder to shoulder technical service input as required in order to enhance the credibility of the company



              • Responsible for overseeing technical matters relating to the effective Plant and Equipment Maintenance on the site



                • Liaison with Client to ensure all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with site policies and procedures and within health and safety legislative requirements. Undertake Authorised Engineer / AP duties, on site, are available for support out of office hrs.



                  • They will implement a wide range of standardised CBRE programs for maintenance operations, training and drills, reporting, document management, maintenance processes and procedures, and reporting of Building Management System (BMS), Electrical Performance Management System (EPMS), Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), and Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS).



                    • They will coordinate achieving local or corporate level industry certifications.



                      • This person will be the site representative for development and management of operations processes and procedures and their standardisation across the Site.



                        • The Technical Contract Manager will have a strong mechanical and electrical background and will continuously review the Methods of Procedures (MoPs) for use in maintenance work on business-critical infrastructure with the operational teams.



                          • Most importantly, the Technical Contract Manager will own the implementation, standardisation, and ongoing ownership of the local Critical Environments Program.



                            • At times the Technical Contract Manager will be needed to support the wider EMEA client portfolio with the same duties.
