Your Responsibilities Technical Coordination and Regulatory Compliance: Develop concept / schematic designs to detailed designs and construction details for tender, ensuring regulatory compliance. Interpret and develop architectural sketches, specifications, and CAD or manual drafting. Check drawings for compliance to planning and building regulations. Coordinate the preparation and submission of forms, drawings, and information required by authorities for approval, waivers and consultations at all project stages. Liaise with consultants on matters of building regulations as directed by the Project Director / Associate / Architect. Assist the Project Architect during site inspections on matters of building regulations. Attend site or consultant meetings on matters of building regulations. Where required, guide and supervise the work of Junior Technical Coordinators. Additional Responsibilities: May be appointed as the Document Controller for the project including but not limited to the following duties: Control drawing and documentation templates and maintain ISO and practice standards. Record and organise the filing and retrieval of submission drawings and authorities’ information. Control the flow of documents and drawings in and out at all project stages. Filing and archiving all relevant documents including BIM models / drawings, and ensure proper records are kept. Undertake other project-related duties and ad-hoc tasks as required. Pre-requisites and Preferred Qualifications At least 2 to 7 years of relevant experience. Diploma in Architecture or equivalent from an accredited institution, with relevant experience in a similar role. Well-versed with 2D and 3D design software and technologies, such as AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft suite. Acute knowledge and application of planning and building codes and regulations, regulatory submissions and processes. Organised and methodical with attention to detail. Ability to take initiative, work methodically, and autonomously. An open and highly collaborative mindset and approach. Candidates with more experience will be considered for a Senior Technical Coordinator role.
