Overall knowledge Comprehensive understanding of the Trade Support Function within Securities Lending. Should have general awareness of market wide risk and compliance policies such as AML Information Security, BCP, Pandemic planning etc. Ability to understand & comprehend Risks associated with the Lending domain and the implications on operations. Strong understanding of aspects of trade settlements, its effect on Operations and implementation. Comprehensive understanding of the Asset Servicing Practice and its effect on the Financial Service Industry. Ability to adapt quickly to new situations and initiatives Knowledge on systems used such as Fundmaster, IMS, TLM, SWIFT, GSL etc. would be an advantage. Financial knowledge on settlements, collateral management within the International and domestic markets would be an advantage. End to End understanding of Securities Lending is preferred/added advantage. Major Duties: Should be able to understand organizational & Division goals, strategies and should be able to help connect to the team’s performance in achieving the same Ensure that the SLA / KPIs are being performed in a timely manner Timely updating of process related documentation Responsible for allocation of work to the team and other Day-to-day process related responsibilities Organizes the work of the team, assigns tasks, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activities and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work Maintain technical knowledge of operations in order to resolve unusual and complex problems. The role demands working with borrowers, agents, tri-party custodian, trading desk, middle office and support teams to resolve complex issues and ensure timely resolution within available timeframe Timely resolution to DSM/ Email queries Work with the Team Leader/Section Manager to test internal controls not only within the sub function of Trade Support but across all sub functions and report accordingly Adhere to the existing controls and continuous review of the process to implement new controls to mitigate risk. Should be in a position to maintain extremely high accuracy levels for the self/team Displays extremely high ownership for the process. Steps up and makes effective decisions wherever and whenever required.
