Description

Our client is one of the nations leading electronics manufacturers. Their focus is creating buttons levers and switches that are used across various industries. They have a small team of 35 employees located on the Fairfield, New Haven county line. They offer competitive pay, great benefits, and an excellent work environment. They are seeking a Customer Service Associate to join their team and assist in handling inbound customer service calls and emails from customers, distributors, and manufacturing representatives.

Responsibilities:**

  • Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • On a day to day basis handle roughly 10-15 inbound calls and 25-30 emails.
  • Ensure customer purchase documents are saved and shared to the appropriate places.
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure on time deliveries.
  • Communicate with engineering or IT as needed to answer customer questions.
  • Be able to effectively learn and refer to company brochure to assist in answering customer questions.

Qualifications:**

  • High School Diploma.
  • 2+ years previous customer service experience.
  • Basic understanding of voltages, or has some basic electrical understanding.
  • Electronic, mechanical, or engineering technical background is strongly desired.
  • Microsoft office and other essential computer skills are needed.
  • Oracle applications or other ERP software skills are desired.
