Data Product Leadership: Own the vision, roadmap, and delivery of data products supporting distributor compliance and global regulatory reporting. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Compliance, Legal, Commercial Operations, and IT to align data capabilities with evolving business and regulatory requirements. Technical Partnership: Work closely with engineering teams to design and maintain data pipelines, data models, and APIs that support compliance metrics and performance monitoring. Analytics & Insights: Deliver dashboards, analytics, and automated alerts that enhance visibility into distributor performance and potential risks. Agile Delivery Management: Manage product backlogs, define priorities, and ensure iterative delivery of business value using agile methodologies. Governance & Compliance: Ensure all data products adhere to Thermo Fisher's data governance, privacy, and trade compliance frameworks. Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing enhancements in data quality, usability, and adoption across global stakeholders and business units. Proven experience (5-7 years) as a Data Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or in a similar data-driven role. 5-7 years of strong understanding of data architecture, data pipelines, and APIs in enterprise environments. 5-7 years of experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and familiarity with SQL or other data query languages. Working knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data governance frameworks. Excellent ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. Demonstrated success in managing agile product delivery, backlog prioritization, and stakeholder engagement. Familiarity with compliance and risk management principles, especially within regulated industries. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related technical field (required). Master's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, or related discipline (preferred). Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), PMI-ACP, or Data Management certifications (e.g., DAMA, CDMP) are a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities. Ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution. Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment.
