Mō te tūranga | About the Role The Delivery Lead role within Technology is pivotal in driving one of our critical transformation programs. This position is responsible for managing an enterprise-wide initiative within the Technology portfolio, focused on migrating Card related components to strategic platforms. By leading this program, the Delivery Lead will enable Westpac to achieve its strategic objectives, deliver business benefits, and realize key outcomes. Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring? • Manage and control assigned streams of work within the digital programme • Operate within a programme construct of interdependent initiatives • Partner with the TAL / SGO for that respective solution area • Enacts the first team principle of enterprise leadership • Ensures that all action and activity is connected to strategy • Highly motivated by ‘done’, a problem solver that takes the initiative to own the clearing of items across the team to prevent the accumulation of risk • Good at dealing many interdependencies and will require a highly collaborative practitioner • All will be hands on with Microsoft Project (to expose critical path, understand dependency and manage the consequence of variation) and Jira (to allow oversight of delivery through the squads) Our culture is rich with stories of how our people like to help, our customers, our community and each other.
