About the Role:
Our client is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to lead the operations, maintenance, and cloud migration of mission-critical IT applications for a federal agency. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership position responsible for maintaining legacy systems while driving modernization and cloud adoption initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in Agile delivery, cloud migration, stakeholder management, and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead day-to-day operations and maintenance of enterprise IT applications, ensuring optimal performance and availability
· Collaborate with Agile teams and stakeholders to manage requirements, plan releases, and support system operations
· Oversee and execute the migration of legacy applications to AWS cloud infrastructure
· Provide hands-on technical leadership for systems utilizing WebLogic, ColdFusion, PowerBuilder, and Sybase
· Support delivery across diverse platforms including ServiceNow, Okta, MuleSoft, Socrata, Box, and Zendesk
· Champion Agile methodologies and DevSecOps best practices
· Lead incident response efforts and conduct root cause analyses for production issues
· Drive cross-system integration and standardized delivery practices
· Identify and recommend improvements to enhance application performance and infrastructure
Required Qualifications:
· 10+ years of experience in IT project or delivery management
· 6+ years leading Agile-based support and development teams
· 3+ years of experience migrating applications to AWS (experience with EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch)
· Strong interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills
· Proficiency in SQL, Spring Boot, J2EE, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps tools
· Familiarity with ColdFusion, PowerBuilder, Sybase, and SSMA (SQL Server Migration Assistant)
Preferred Certifications:
· AWS Certified Solutions Architect
· PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
