Job Title Technical Department Manager Mechatronics Job Description We are looking for a Technical Department Manager to lead our Mechatronics team in Best NL. As a key leader of the global Positioning leadership team within Image Guided Therapy Systems, you will drive the development of Mechatronics platform on the aspects of safe motion control, drivetrains and electronics. Your Role Strategic & Resource Planning: Contribute to budget and resource planning, and progressively influencing the mechatronics development methods and product roadmaps. Leadership & Talent Development: Attract, retain, and develop top talent, fostering a high-performing mechatronics and electronics team. Delivery & Execution: Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality design, within an Agile/SAFe setup. Regulatory & Quality Compliance: Ensure all deliverables meet the quality standards and medical regulatory standards with thorough documentation. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other R&D teams and key functions, including marketing, PMO, quality, regulatory, and service. Workplace Culture & Innovation: Foster an engaging, innovative, and inspiring work environment, focused on continuous improvement. You’re the Right Fit If You Have: A Master’s degree in Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related field. At least 5 years of leadership experience in technical management. A minimum of 10 years of engineering experience in mechatronics systems. Proven experience building and leading high-performance R&D teams. Proven experience in driving agile development, preferably using SAFe. A commitment to delivering safe and effective healthcare solutions. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
