Job Summary: We’re excited to welcome a Technical Design Intern to join our team this summer. This role will support the Technical Design team throughout the product development process, with a focus on garment fit, construction, and sample management. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to fittings and learn how products are refined for production. What You’ll Do: * Assist with reviewing and measuring incoming samples * Observe development and production fittings * Support with TOP comments and sample approvals * Help organize and distribute samples to the technical design team * Assist with sample management, including packing and preparing for sample sales * Sit in on seasonal handoffs between Design and Technical Design * Requirements: * Must be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Fashion Design, Technical Design, Product Development, or a related field * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment * Eagerness to learn and collaborate with cross-functional teams * Basic knowledge of garment construction or textiles is a plus What You’ll Gain: * Hands-on experience in technical design and sample development within a contemporary fashion brand * Exposure to the full product lifecycle, from initial development through production and final execution * Direct involvement in fittings, specing, and sample management processes * Understanding of how Technical Design, Product Development, and Production teams collaborate * Experience working cross-functionally with Design and Production teams * Mentorship and insight from experienced industry professionals in a fast-paced environment * A strong foundation for a career in Technical Design, Product Development, or Production Physical Requirements: * This position requires frequent use of a computer, mouse and keyboard. * Must be able to physically report into the HQ office in Los Angeles, CA 3-4 days per week. * Frequent sitting. * Occasional standing, walking, bending, stooping. * Must be able to push, pull, lift up to 15 lbs. Responsibilities
