32 Degrees is a leading private label house located in the garment district of NYC. We are seeking a skilled Technical Designer to join our team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years professional experience preferably in technical design, and a Technical Design Degree from a credible institution.
  • Strong Illustrator Flat Sketching skills
  • Knowledge of garment construction
  • Must be well versed in MS office environment
  • Must be highly organized, detail oriented and a self-starter
  • Ability to multi-task, trouble shoot, and problem solve
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround and deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize workload based on deadlines and calendar.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Assist Senior Technical Designer in preparing garments for fittings.
  • Assist with special requests across multiple tasks.
  • Work through all stages of product development for line goods.
  • Maintain sample library, and sample tracking at all stages.
  • Responsible for tracking all sample requests and follow up on WIP.
  • Set up tech packs with photos and comments, for both development and production.
  • Collaborate between design and production department.
  • Maintain pattern library.
  • Manage all deadlines within Development/Production Calendar.
  • Assist with tech pack costing.
  • Attend fittings and take notes for the team.
  • Be Flexible to work long days as needed.
  • Maintaining filing systems.
