At Moss you will join a highly creative, collaborative team dedicated in partnering with our clients to create their vision. The position: The Technical Designer role will collaborate with Project Managers, Senior Designers and the Manufacturing teams to develop and bring client concepts to reality through shop ready drawings using SolidWorks. Each custom project will provide a unique and exciting experience to create a powerful branded environment for our clients. How will you do it: Work with design and project teams on conceptual designs Resolve complex design issues with practical solutions Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings and assist in construction drawings Qualifications Qualified candidates must have a background in Computer Aided Design or similar work related experience, proven CAD proficiency and portfolio examples showing strong concept development to CAD implementation intended for manufacturing. 1-3 years design experience Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Design, Architecture or Computer Aided Design required Proven CAD proficiency and Portfolio examples showing strong concept development with CAD implementation intended for manufacturing SolidWorks required Skilled in spatial visualization and reverse engineering Superior problem solving and critical thinking skills Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a collaborative team Ability to manage changing priorities, adjust work schedules while maintaining project deliverables and assuring all deadlines are met Strong written and verbal communication skills for all levels within the organization Willingness to be hands-on for continued learning and development of production ready deliverables Able to work overtime as required to meet the demands of or our clients Broad knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes
