Description

Are you a Technical Developer for apparel with strong pattern cutting experience? For a global client in the fashion industry based in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Technical Developer, Denim & Woven Blocks. You’ll play a key role in establishing and refining core pattern blocks to ensure exceptional fit, consistency, and efficiency, while driving seasonal silhouette developments across a global supply base. Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, sustainable products that meet ambitious technical KPIs. Deadline for submissions is Thursday 28th August at 12:00.

Responsibilities
  • Develop or refine priority woven blocks (denim, pants, dresses, shirts) through sample creation, fittings, and feedback-driven adjustments, ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
  • Carry out pattern cutting and technical development.
  • Review and assess current woven blocks to identify gaps, fit issues, and improvement opportunities; align on target fits and priorities with Design, Technical, Product Development, and Merchandising teams.
  • Update new blocks in PLM with global fit grading, link to seasonal styles, and maintain complete, accurate, and timely system data.
  • Finalize approved blocks with updated technical files, upload to shared systems, and provide an accessible, clearly labeled pattern/block library and overview document.
  • Lead fit meetings, record and communicate changes internally and externally, and ensure adherence to critical paths for on-time seasonal development and production.
  • Deliver improved, approved woven blocks with graded specifications for seasonal lines.
  • Achieve technical KPIs, including fit improvement, grading projects, reduced overdevelopment, and enhanced quality, in partnership with the other teams.
