THE IDEAL CANDIDATE DESCRIPTION:

  • 7+ years of experience, with a minimum of 2+ years managing a team
  • A bachelor/ master’s degree in fashion, garment technology, pattern cutting or equivalent experience in fashion, clothing, or textiles industry
  • Pattern cutting experience to a high level- both male and female product.
  • Runway experience is a must.
  • Gerber & Adobe suit knowledge is essential
  • Strong knowledge in all aspects of technical product development, including construction, production & grading development and management.
  • Atelier management & toiling experience is preferred
  • Effective communication skills: inclusive team player, interdepartmental collaboration, stakeholder management
  • Strong analytical skills with proactive problem solving skills and attention to data and policies
  • Able to work in a highly productive, multicultural, fast paced environment with a hands-on approach
  • Self-driven, pragmatic, and business mind set
  • Ability to travel internationally
  • Embodies PVH values of individuality, passion, accountability, partnership & integrity
  • Good command of written & spoken English

Responsibilities
  • Research & development
  • Cutting patterns and supporting the team during busy periods. This is a hands on role.
  • Recruit, maintain & nurture high performing teams, including managing learning and development of direct reports & wider teams development.
  • Maintain close relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Developing close relationships with vendors in all aspects related to brand & product expectations
  • Provide (ad hoc) analyses and reporting for presentations to management and key stakeholders
  • Manage the atelier and atelier calendar
  • Manager atelier supplies & equipment
