Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Technical Director – Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) to lead design and implementation of advanced automation and control systems for high-tech manufacturing environments, including semiconductor fabs and cleanroom facilities. Job Description Provide technical leadership for I&C systems design and integration in advanced manufacturing projects. Develop strategies for automation, process control, and monitoring systems ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. Oversee preparation of detailed engineering documents, specifications, and control logic diagrams using tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and PLC programming platforms. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Process Engineering) to integrate I&C solutions into overall facility design. Ensure adherence to ISA standards, ISO cleanroom classifications, and cybersecurity protocols for control systems. Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and validation of I&C systems for critical environments. Support project planning, cost estimation, and technical evaluations for control systems packages. Mentor engineering teams and ensure knowledge transfer of best practices in automation and control Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering. 15+ years of experience in I&C design and implementation for advanced manufacturing or semiconductor facilities. Expertise in PLC/DCS systems, SCADA, and industrial automation platforms. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools. Strong understanding of ISA, IEC, and international control system standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Additional Information Master’s degree or certifications (ISA, PMP, cybersecurity for control systems) is a plus. Experience in semiconductor fabs, ATMP facilities, or electronics manufacturing preferred.
